Jun. 14th, 2004 04:45 pmDriving was near perfect today. I had to reverse around five different corners (each three times) and I managed to do them all! :D Only mishap was getting off the North End Road roundabout onto Lillee Rd (Old Brompton Rd side). Just got off it and found a huge lorry on my side of the road, and a FAT queue of traffic on the other side :( Drove v.v.slowly there, and *almost* got my mirror knocked on the right :( Bah.
Also got to see Deech's v.swish flat in slightly dumpy location. One room for rent is worth paying £87 for, but £97 is steep.... He and Toilet Bowl are going to be great flatmates (Richard is great when you don't have to work with him), but £97 to live 12 minutes walk from a zone 2 tube station and no bus stops for 7-8 minutes walk if Charing X hospital is not open? I'd be quite tempted to hold out for something else...
